Qur’aanic Verses 30:17, 18:
Transliteration:
17. Fasubhana Allahi heena tumsoona waheena tusbihoona
18. Walahu alhamdu fee alssamawati waal-ardi waAAashiyyan waheena tuthhiroona
Translation:
17. And Glory to Allah when you retire for the night and Glory to Him when you get ready for your daily work in the morning.
18. And for Him is the Praise in the heavens and the earth and in the evening and when you are at noon.5
Study Note:
5. Verses 17 and 18 here mention all the different periods of a 24-hours day. Man’s continued existence during these periods is entirely because of Allah’s meticulous monitoring of his life. Allah not only monitors, but protects his life at every stage. Left to himself, man would not survive any of these periods. Allah protects him thus for the entire span of his life. Glory to Him!
