Ancient People of Aad

Qur’aanic Verse 29:38:

Transliteration:

38. WaAAadan wathamooda waqad tabayyana lakum min masakinihim wazayyana lahumu alshshaytanu aAAmalahum fasaddahum AAani alssabeeli wakanoo mustabsireena

Translation:

38. And (the peoples of) Aad and Samood! Verily, their destruction is apparent to you from their dwellings.⁶ The Satan made their deeds look good to them, and thus hindered them from the Right Path that was within their sight.
