Knowledge falls into three categories
1- Material knowledge : like physics and geography
2- Sharia - Islamic law - knowledge : like the knowledge of Hallal -
allowed - and Haram - prohibited -
3- Knowledge/consciousness of Allah/or Knowing Allah : Knowing His
Names and Attributes etc.
Each knowledge needs or depends on each other, for instance Material
knowledge can be used to create a weapon and without the Knowledge of
Islamic law then the weapon "can" be used for mass murder, so you see
Material knowledge needs the Knowledge of Islamic law, and of course
Islamic law needs the Knowledge of Allah, for instance you might find
a hafiz cheating, why?, and here's the question, the answer on that is
the Knowledge of Islamic law needs the Knowledge of Allah, because
without the consciousness of Allah there will be no reason we should
worship.
