Silica materials impregnated with polyethylenimine were demonstrated to cost-effectively capture carbon dioxide from air. The inexpensive adsorbent achieved some of the highest CO2 removal ratesever documented for humid air. After releasing the gas for isolation or use in other applications, the polymer material is regenerated and placed back into service.

The smaller model features a 30x greater sensitivity up to 0.1 μSv/hour and combines camcorder images with radiation sensor data.
